- Tell us a bit about your job as an ABA Therapist.
As an ABA therapist I work to create and oversee interventions, programs, and goals for my clients based on data. The interventions, programs, and goals are created to help clients engage or learn socially significant behaviors that will advance their independence and communication.
- What drove you to the ABA Therapist profession?
I was inspired to pursue the path of becoming an ABA Therapist to help individuals gain skills to become the most independent versions of themselves. Being able to advocate for yourself and communicate your needs is very powerful.
- How do you balance your career and family?
In order to balance my career and family I schedule time in my days to out my work aside and focus on my family. I make sure to also schedule days that are just for family and work is put away.
- How has Golden Care helped you in your career development?
Golden Care has helped my career development by teaching me different methods and ways to complete and excel in my role as an ABA Therapist.
- What do you find the most challenging in your work as an ABA Therapist?
The most challenging part of being an ABA therapist is the challenging behaviors that clients exhibit. Working with individuals who engage in problem behaviors that impact their safety and safety of others can draining and lead to burn out.
- What drew you to Golden Care originally?
And how has Golden Care changed since? I was drawn to Golden Care for the flexibility and support they have offered. Since working with Golden Care I have been able to have the support I needed to accomplish take in my role and allow clients to be set up for success and succeed.
- What have you gained from working at Golden Care?
I have gained relationships and knowledge from working at Golden Care. I have been able to learn how to work with different individuals and cultures.
- What is the favorite part in your work as an ABA Therapist/ of working for Golden Care?
My favorite part in my work as an ABA therapist is watching my clients gain skills and master their goals. Seeing clients achieve independence and communication is my favorite and most rewarding aspect of my job.

My proudest moment in my work as an ABA therapist is watching my clients being able to succeed and gain independence.
